Prerequisite: None (must be comfortable in an immersion setting)

Class Objective: French dialogues, French phonetics & pronunciation, introduction to reading and grammar

A.P. French Prep Class (Grades 9-12)
Limit Capacity: 9 students
Class Objective:Students cultivate understanding of French language and culture by applying interpersonal, interpretive, and presentation modes of communication in real-life situations as they explore concepts related to family and community, personal and public identity, beauty and aesthetics, science and technology, contemporary life, and global challenges. Equivalent to an intermediate level college course in French.
Prerequisite: At least five years of French and a freshman in high school
One class session minimum required per week.

Come explore the Francophone cultures of France and Togo this summer! We’ll learn about different countries art, music, geography, cuisine, cultural celebrations, and more all in French. No previous French experience is required, students will be broken into groups based on age and ability.

We are offering our space for students to do their e-learning in a classroom setting. Instructors are able to help students with assignments and give some supplement work if they are finished and motivated. We also pay attention to areas that need assistance. Our schedule is crafted to respect the breaks students need during a full day of work. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday we can follow each student’s individual school schedule.

Beginner Conversational Level 1-2
Class Description: Learn French phrases that are commonly used at the airport, a hotel, restaurant, and among your French colleagues. Practice French vocabulary with the instructor and fellow classmates. Students will also be given worksheets and activities for at home practice.
Winter Session: January 11 – March 22

Intermediate Conversational Level 3-5
Class Objective: Intense practice in French conversation focusing on increasing and developing listening and communication skills. Provides instruction in its target language for at least three of the following areas: students’ reading, writing, speaking and listening in French and cultures and cultural practices of the French-speaking world.
Prerequisite: Intermediate Level 1 & 2 or permission of instructor

The registration forms must be filled out prior to the start of the school year. A $75 non-refundable processing fee must be mailed to the office to secure a space for the student (this does not apply to the adult evening class). Classes are non-refundable due to inclement weather, cancellation by parent/student, or no show by student. By filling out the school registration form you have agreed to abide with these terms.
