Our Immersion Preschool Program is dedicated to providing a high-quality French education for young learners in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Mes Amis French School's Immersion Preschool Program is fully state-licensed and has proudly earned the highest rating from Parent Aware, Minnesota’s trusted resource for quality early childhood education programs.

We’re proud to say our curriculum is approved by the state of Minnesota. At Mes Amis, we work hard to nurture our student’s well being and fundamental growth. Our Parent Aware review states we meet the following required criteria:
curriculum includes a research basis/philosophy statement that describes how children learn and how teachers teach
curriculum includes instructional approaches to help children achieve goals and objectives
curriculum provides goals and objectives of children’s learning
is reasonably aligned with the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress
provides information about the setting and environment in which learning happens
provides examples of children’s learning experiences for each domain in the Minnesota ECIP domains, for each age group
We receive the highest rating from the Parent Aware system. Our 4 Star rating means that we demonstrate all 1, 2, and 3 Star rating practices and commit to ongoing quality improvement by using most of the following practices:
respond to unique cultural customs and needs of children and families
offer activities that encourage family participation and help children transition to kindergarten
give families opportunities to provide feedback about the program
share child development updates with families to set goals together
make accommodations for children with special needs and their families
have highly-qualified and trained leadership staff, teachers, and providers
create a program-wide professional development plan
encourage healthy living through nutrition and physical activity, always evaluating to set goals for growth

Program Objectives
Foundation for Successful Lifelong Learning
We create a strong educational base by fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning through an immersive French environment. These skills prepare students for academic success and a lifelong passion for discovery.
Cultural Awareness
Immersing students in French language and Francophone culture broadens their horizons and instills an appreciation for global diversity, helping them develop empathy and respect for others.
Problem-Solving Skills
Our curriculum encourages critical thinking and decision-making through hands-on activities, exploration, and guided challenges, fostering resilience and adaptability.
Build Social Skills
Through cooperative activities, group play, and teacher-guided interaction, children learn how to share, communicate, collaborate, and develop positive relationships with peers and educators.
Self-Confidence
We provide a supportive environment where children feel safe to explore, express themselves, and build their self-esteem through positive reinforcement and individualized encouragement.
Character Development
Children are guided to develop strong moral values such as honesty, kindness, responsibility, and respect, helping them grow into thoughtful and compassionate individuals.
Proper Etiquette

The registration forms must be filled out prior to the start of the school year. A $75 non-refundable processing fee must be mailed to the office to secure a space for the student.
Classes are non-refundable due to inclement weather, cancellation by parent/student, or no show by student. By filling out the school Registration Form you have agreed to abide with these terms (registration forms are per academic year and are not necessary for each session).
