Part-time School Assistant / Aide

Position: Part-Time School Assistant/Aide (Floater)

Location: Mes Amis French School – Hopkins, MN

Schedule: Approximately 2 days per week

Mes Amis French School is seeking a caring, reliable, organized, and flexible School Assistant/Aide to provide classroom and general school support in our Toddler and Preschool programs.

Key Responsibilities

● Serve as a floater, assisting teachers with classroom activities and student supervision as needed.

● Support children's learning, play, and daily routines.

● Organize classroom materials, monitor supplies, and restock as needed.

● Help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming classrooms and kitchen areas.

● Assist with before- and after-school care as needed.

● Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with school safety policies.

Qualifications

● Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

● Basic French communication skills preferred.

● Patient, dependable, flexible, and comfortable working with young children.

● Able to multitask and work collaboratively with teachers.

● Must meet applicable Minnesota childcare licensing requirements.
