Rose Mingo-Holtz came from the islands of Haiti where French and Creole are the official languages. She speaks four different languages: French, Creole, English and Spanish.

Madame Rose’s 10+ year-teaching career spans diverse age groups, languages and skill sets. Her experience includes instructing French Continued Education at Normandale Community College, Middle School French at Oak Grove Bloomington Public Schools, French & Spanish at Sunrise Montessori, French Community Education in Bloomington, Chaska, and Richfield. • Madame Kathy, Instructor

I was born in Le Puy-en-Velay, France, and moved to the United States in 2007. As a native French speaker, I have a deep connection to the French language and culture. I have dedicated my career to working with young children and am passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel supported, confident, and excited to learn.

I am an AMI-trained Montessori teacher with more than a decade of experience in early childhood education. I have extensive experience guiding young children in Montessori classrooms and have also taught French to children of various ages. I enjoy fostering independence, curiosity, creativity, and respect while helping children develop socially, emotionally, and academically.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy traveling, spending time at the lake with my husband and our two children, ages 12 and 9, and going on hikes and walks. I also love crafts, singing and being part of a choir, and catching up with friends over a good cup of coffee.

I am very excited to join Mes Amis and look forward to sharing my love of the French language and culture with the children. I am especially excited to get to know each child and help make their early learning experience joyful, engaging, and meaningful.
